Gaya Avidor Week 3 - Do You Prefer Hybrid or Online?

This week I’m choosing to write about school going back to being partially in person. Many people have chosen to return to school this week for the two day in-person cycle. I was one of the many that decided to do so, and I think that so far it has worked out to be not that bad. The two days that I had on campus this week were the shortest days of my schedule, but it was still nice to experience being around my classmates again. I usually tend to prefer learning online, but I feel as though having the option to come into school is a good thing. I was getting pretty excited on the Sunday before we came back this week. It turned out to be as I expected, with a lot of new rules and regulations of course. But, ultimately I think that the school did a good job with finding a way to be able to host us for in-person learning as well. I was glad to finally see my friends in a normal setting, but it was hard not being able to be close to them. Wearing a mask for nearly 7 hours straight is honestly super tough and annoying, but we have to do what we have to do. The one thing that is also annoying is the fact that I’m absolutely exhausted at the end of each week. Even being solely online was tiring, and now the switching back and forth has only added on to my tiredness. The first week ended up working well, but I hope that we can get back to a normal routine soon.
