Last week, one of my favorite shows started playing on the Israeli channel: HaMerotz LaMillion. It is the amazing race of Israel, where six teams of two compete for a million shekels. The show usually starts in Israel, and all the teams fly to other countries. However, this year, the show started in the Philippines. Also this year, there were six new teams and six teams that were previously on the show and very liked by the crows. There are nearly impossible “missions” the teams have to complete before they move on to the next. Every week, someone goes back home to Israel. This year my favorite team is Ella and Vova. They are exes and they are from Russia with the funniest accents. Everyone on the show sees them as a threat, so they always vote to stop them. Teams can stop the others by voting for it, and the team that has the most votes has to wait 15 minutes, which is very crucial.

Liann Rozenberg Week 3 - The Amazing Race Israel
The reason I love this show is not only because of how exciting it is, but it is a part of my family’s busy week where we all sit down for an hour and watch it together. It plays twice a week, and we are always ecstatic to watch it together. My parents like to make jokes about the way that the teams on the show speak grammatically incorrect Hebrew, but my brother and I would not know. We always get snacks and make the whole thing a big deal, which I love.
Do you and your family have a specific show or movie you always watch together?

I love the American version of this show and have been missing it since it can't film right now. How can I watch this?
ReplyDeleteI also love the American version of this show. My family watches Survivor together every week when it is on. I didn't know the Amazing Race was present in other counties: interesting.
