Do I really need to explain further than the title. Okay, but really...If you don’t agree with me, you obviously don’t know Amy. First of all, I was born in March, and she decides to be born in May and steal my middle name...the audacity. To set the scene, we have been friends since 2nd grade, when she crashed my West Boca Basketball practice. We have remained friends since then, which unfortunately means I’ve had to deal with this pain for 10. whole. Years!! You think you have it rough becoming friends with Amy in high school? Try 2nd grade. And she has not gotten any better...As a matter of fact, she used to be worse. Well...that’s up for debate. She used to be a quiet, but aggressive child. Now, she is a loud, distracting--but less aggressive--human.
Amy Kraft leaves no time for me. She tells me she wants to do something with me, and then she decides to hang out with Claire. Like, who even is Claire?? Anyway…..she is not the friend you wanna have. I mean, who tells someone you wanna go shopping with them and then doesn’t even offer to miss their unimportant volleyball practices for it. Not only is she flakey, but she is the BIGGEST distraction!!! I mean, you call her, and you can’t even get a word out to tell her that you want to work quietly. And when you do tell her, it is as if you told her to rant to you about every little inconvenience from her week. I am convinced she does not speak English. She definitely has selective hearing, that’s for sure.
Amy Kraft is not ALL bad, though. We have had some good memories, from West Boca Basketball, to school basketball, to Purim, to oatmeal masks. Despite her many flaws, I love Amy. She and I have always done sports together, in and out of school. She is one of my longest friends in Donna Klein, and is the reason we moved into her neighborhood. If it wasn’t for our West Boca Basketball practice location cancelling on us, and her mom offering the Woodfield court for practice, we would never have known to move here. I am so grateful for so many years of friendship and so many more to come.
P.S. - This blog was her idea...I’m not a bully.

ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. Amy is a bad bleep except I disagree with the last paragraph-- too sappy for my liking. Oh wait I actually do like one thing about her. She goes to Bellagio with me so that makes up for all of her bad qualities I guess
