Miscellaneous

 Miscellaneous

It seems like these last couple weeks before college apps are due are going by SO quickly. I have been working on supplemental essays so often that it seems like that's all I do nowadays. I actually cannot think of anything that Ive done this week OTHER than college apps, so I thought I'd document a couple of random things that happened this week for me. Some of it might be TMI, but who cares?!

Oct 16:

I had a bunch of acne come in. For no reason. It was the type of acne that is all in one place (mine happened to be on my chin) and as soon as one goes away, another one pops up in the same spot. my suspicions are that it's from my mask but I cant really do anything about that. Super aggravating.

Oct 17:

I ate SO much that day. I probably looked like I was 6 months pregnant after eating a huge tub of baked ziti, some spinach artichoke dip, a piece of salmon, and half of a burger.

Oct 18:

I cried that day. I think it was about being stressed about school and applications. Lmao sometimes its just fun to listen to music and cry. Don't judge me.

Oct 19:

I FINALLY started by next painting. It is due Monday and I am struggling.😃 I think it is going to turn out really cool, though. I am using a blue, red, and purple color scheme, which is very limited compared to how many colors I usually use.

I also filled my tires with air at the gas station for the first time. I didn't know what I was doing. It was pouring rain. I was freaking out. That's all I want to say about that.

Oct 20:

I bought a bunch of unnecessary clothing from urban outfitters online. What? Shopping is like therapy for me.

It was also Taco Tuesday, which my family NEVER does. Im still thinking about that guac omg.

Yesterday:

I work as a tutor for on certain days of the week so yesterday I tutored a boy in 4th grade on how to write an opinion essay. It is crazy how primitive 4th grade writing is. I kept wanting to yell at him for not putting his commas in the right place, but I knew it was a new concept for him so I tried to be patient.

Then, I went to Dylan's house to study for our math test. We also got really good ramen from Ramen Lab Eatery in Mizner Park. Gabe came over, too, so it was fun, but it also sucked because I got home at midnight so I'm exhausted.

Today:

I took a nap, had Chick-fil-a for dinner, watched a little bit of the bachelorette, worked on art, watched the debate, and now I'm doing homework. If y'all see me looking like a zombie in school tomorrow, you'll know it is because it is now 11:57pm and I still have to do Hebrew and history homework, AND shower before bed.

Oh and I said I wouldn't talk about common app essays, but I still have to work on those tonight, too because I am so behind. Please, Ms. Ho, if you see this, try not to give homework this week. It is 10 days away from application deadlines and I need time to write my essays. Sorry for the negative ending. I'm just too exhausted to sugarcoat.

  1. There will be zero homework this weekend and not a ton over the next week either. I know you guys have deadlines. I can't give up a week of time, but I am also not overloading you. Don't worry :)

I'd love to see your painting when it's finished! Also? Now I want ziti AND a burger.

  2. Ha, look at you writing supplementary essays for your fancy colleges. Imagine having ambitions in life and not just applying to in state public colleges. You have fun with your aspirations, I'm gonna go live under a bridge and become a local cryptid :)
