For some people, like myself, it is very difficult when there is uncertainty in life. I really enjoy having things planned out and also being able to create solutions to problems. With all of the craziness going on in the world, people who are more Type-A like me tend to get stressed due to uncertainty. As a result, finding ways to relieve stress are absolutely necessary to feeling healthy.
I do a lot of things to alleviate stress and I always have, it is definitely more amplified now that we have so much less control over out lives. My favorite thing to do in order to calm myself down is exercise. Whether it be through lifting weight, running, or playing basketball, I really enjoy giving myself some time to just calm down. They say that working out releases endorphins. Endorphins are horomones in the body that are scientifically proven to release a euphoric response. In simpler terms, exercise makes you happy!!! I highly recommend creating a schedule. For example, what I do for myself is I lift weights three times a week, do some sort of cardio one time a week, and then on the weekends, I try to play some sort of sport with friends. On all of the days in between during the week, I then take time to rest and let my body relax. I highly recommend this because without it I know that I wouldn't be happy.
Another really good way to alleviate stress is to talk to people. I know that for me, it is really important to confide in both my family and close friends. Keep yourself open and you will feel really good.
I hope everyone is doing alright in this difficult time and truly, if you aren't, try some of the things I suggested. You really will feel happier!

I'm not really one to plan things out in detail myself (I just kind of do things and sometimes they work), but I also make time to exercise because it really contributes to a lot more than fitness. Going on runs with my dog really helps clear my head.
