The NFL season is coming to an end. It was a disappointing end of the season for my team, the Miami Dolphins. We missed the playoffs by 1 game with a 10-6 record, giving us the best record for a non-playoff team. Although I was upset that we did not make the playoffs, I became excited for the future of the team. We have a young quarterback on a team that is improving with some good draft picks once again this year. I look forward to some point in the future where I can go to a game once again.
As for the teams left in the playoffs, I am rooting for either the Buffalo Bills or Green Bay Packers. The Bills have never won a super bowl even though they had made 4 straight before. They may be in the same division as the Dolphins, but I don’t hate them because we are not rivals. Their fans donated money to the charity of the quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens, Lamar Jackson, who suffered a concussion in their loss to the Bills last weekend. It would be great to see the Bills knock off the former champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, to make the Superbowl. As for the Packers, I would love to see Aaron Rodgers defeat Tom Brady to make the Super Bowl. Brady has been so dominant over his career, so it would be cool to see Rodgers defeat him in Brady’s first-ever NFC championship game. For all you people out there who like cool stats- here is a good one. If Tom Brady were an NFL franchise, he would have the 5th most playoff wins. This means that only 4 NFL franchises have more playoff wins than Tom Brady by himself. That is crazy to think about. Now is the time where Aaron Rodgers can knock him out of the playoffs and make it to the Superbowl. Who are you rooting for in these 2 conference championships? (Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Green Bay Packers)
