Yesterday I went to top golf with my boyfriend; I have never been there. I have not actually ever played golf, besides mini-golf, which is not really my favorite. I prefer bowling or other mini-games. However, top golf was really fun! It is a game that anyone can play and win, all you have to do to score points is hit the golf ball with the golf club at a field, which looks like it has giant dartboards. The further the ball goes and the closer to the center of the target, the more points.
I am pretty sure there are three floors; we went to the middle floor and we were right in the middle. It looks really cool it is like this big outdoor space and everyone is just hitting golf balls! All of it is really electronic, which adds a modern and technologized look to golf. I have always thought of golf as the least modern game, but this makes it exciting for anyone.
I noticed that people tried to swing high and hit the ball as hard as they could, but the ball would not even go anywhere. I am very unprofessional so I hit the ball with a little bit of pressure, nothing crazy, and it rolled into the targets… every time! I ended up with the most points, which is really ironic because I am not a sporty girl. However, this experience was really fun and inexpensive too. We did not get any food or drinks because we ate pizza, but I believe it would even be fun to eat there as well.

I was actually at Drive Shack yesterday which is a competitor of Top Golf. I understand what you are saying because it is not about how hard you hit it, it is about the form and the accuracy.
ReplyDeleteThat is super cool. I have always wanted to try Top Golf as I have heard that it is very entertaining. It seems so much more fun than regular golf and mini golf. Hopefully this month I could go try this. Glad you enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I always learn about such interesting places with fun activities from you! I only enjoy mini-golf sometimes, so it's nice to hear about this alternative. I'm also not a sporty person (unless dance counts), but this seems like a fun activity to do with friends!
