Most of you probably don’t know this, but my car’s air conditioning has been broken for a solid couple of months. Now, this would be terrible for anyone...But, let’s just take into account that we live in Florida, and I have been driving to and from sports practices and games for months now with no AC. Let’s just say it is not fun sweating while just driving TO a tennis match.
So, after countless calls and rescheduling appointments, I drove to the Honda dealership and got my car serviced. It was a very eventful day that came full circle when I ended it driving to my tennis match WITH AC!!! AC is one of those things that you never fully appreciate until it breaks...Anyway, I drove to my appointment in the morning, and Zoey came with, but in her car. Then we went to get coffee and we were going to get breakfast because the appointment was at 9:30am, but then we were both too lazy to get out of the car and just never really mentioned it. We just sat in the car outside of the breakfast place while I annoyed her for 2 hours talking about my birthday plans...That’s a story for another time, though. Anyway, we basically wasted the whole morning and then came to find out it was 11:30 and time to decide on lunch. We went to lunch and then she dropped me off at my car at the dealership. Then, like I said earlier, I drove to my tennis match, WITH AC! I still can’t get over the fact that I don’t have to suffocate in my 90ºF car anymore. If you can’t tell, this is the highlight of my week.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot! I told Zoey I will listen to her Broadway and Disney music and she will make me a playlist of her favorite songs...So, if you have any suggestions, comment them!!! I’m putting this in because I promised her and now you can all hold me accountable if I break her promise.
P.S.--how obvious is it that I’m running out of things to write about LOL my life must be pretty boring right now if fixing my car’s AC is the most interesting thing that happened to me this week...
Honestly, driving without AC in Florida sounds like hell, especially if you're going to and from sports games jeez. Mad respect to you for being able to manage that for months :( Once my mom's car's AC was busted for like a week and that alone made the 15 minute drive to school awful, so I can't even begin to think how crappy it was for you...

DeleteWow no AC in Florida really sucks. Better now than in the summer, but that's still pretty frustrating. For some reason, it seems like AC systems in cars are usually the first faulty thing as they get older. Maybe just in Florida because of the heat haha.
